YOGA YOGA IN THE PARK

Austin, Texas (February 2, 2005) - The Austin Parks Foundation, Downtown Austin Alliance, and Yoga Yoga have teamed up to bring downtown Austin free, outdoor yoga classes every Wednesday in March at noon. All ages and abilities are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat. All classes will be led by registered yoga teachers from Yoga Yoga.

WHERE:
Republic Square Park between 4th and 5th Streets on Guadalupe at 422 Guadalupe St.
(Voted Reader's Choice for "Best Urban Public Space" in Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin 2004 Awards)

WHEN:
Wednesdays, Noon- 1 p.m., in March (2, 9, 16, 23, 30)

WHO:
Classes for downtown residents, employees, and visitors. All ages and abilities welcome. Hosted by Austin Parks Foundation, Downtown Austin Alliance, and Yoga Yoga.

MEDIA OPP:
Yoga classes will take place on the berms of historic Republic Square Park, Austin's oldest remaining green space, offering tranquil meditation in the midst of a bustling downtown workweek.
