Internationally Renowned Yoga Teacher and Noted Researcher To Lead Yoga Workshops at Yoga Yoga

Austin, Texas (February 2, 2004) -Internationally renowned yoga teacher, psychotherapist, and noted researcher Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, Ph.D. will offer a weekend of yoga workshops at Yoga Yoga Westgate, 4477 South Lamar Boulevard, on February 13-15, 2004.

"Healing and the Gong," a Kundalini workshop with Khalsa, will be held on Friday, February 13 from 7:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. This workshop uses movement, breath, and sound to prepare for a deep healing journey into the sound of the Gong and requires no previous yoga experience. The cost to attend this workshop is $25. Khalsa has conducted workshops on yoga, healing, and the gong worldwide. He has authored a monograph on playing the gong as taught by Yogi Bhajan and is the composer and performer of Spirit Songs, one of the world's premiere CDs featuring the sound of the Gong.

"Creating Conscious Relationships Through Yoga" is a two-part workshop on February 14 and 15. Participants will develop a set of tools and techniques to uncover and remove old patterns that no longer work in order to create conscious relationships with other people and with the individual self. The workshop on Saturday, Feb. 14 will focus on "The Infinite Self," while the workshop on Sunday, Feb. 15 will focus on "The Divine Other." The workshops are from noon-6 p.m each day. About Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, Ph.D.
Gurucharan Khalsa, a licensed professional psychological counselor, is a widely recognized expert and pioneer in the application of Kundalini yoga and meditation for excellence in physical and mental health and for top performance in individuals.
